The Skya Harp has medium heavy string tension. Its sound is rich, mellow and robust. It has the note range of the traditional Irish harp; "E" up to "G" (1 octave + 5 notes below middle "C" up to 2 octaves + 4 notes above middle "C"). 31 strings or 4+ octaves. The body, neck and pillar are made of solid Ash . The soundboard is laminated birch. Dimensions, including removable easy slide legs: 57" X 25". Soundboard width is 11". Weight is 16 lbs. Sharping levers are standard on on "F", "C", and "B" strings. The finish is Cordovan with a Celtic soundboard decoration.
